Architecture of Instinct
This work explores the encounter between structure and emotion, between what is built by reason and what emerges from the deepest layers of vital impulse. The composition is organized in layers where architecture, text, the human figure, and pictorial gesture coexist within the same visual space.
In the upper part, a classical façade appears, suggesting order, memory, and permanence. Over it, fragments of writing are superimposed, introducing a cultural and narrative dimension, as if different voices or times were passing through the image. In contrast, the lower area transforms into a territory of pictorial energy. Intense brushstrokes and vibrant colors create a dynamic field where the silhouette of a bull emerges. This presence symbolizes the primal force of instinct, an energy that breaks the stability of architecture and expands the visual space with movement and tension.
The human figure placed at the lower edge adds a contemporary dimension, establishing a bridge between the viewer and the scene.
In Architecture of Instinct, the painting becomes a place of encounter between two opposing forces: the cultural structure that builds the world and the emotional impulse that transforms it. The painting thus reveals an inner landscape where tradition, memory, and vital energy intertwine.
