“Viewing his own work: emotion and excitement”

At the 7th International Poster Triennial in Toyama (2003), held at the Museum of Modern Art, prize-winning works were exhibited. Among them, artist Julius Njau received an award.

Njau stated that he feels a connection with Toyama and that his work conveys strong emotion and energy. This was his first time participating in the event, where works have also been presented in cultural institutions abroad.

His piece titled “Drum” was selected from many entries. Through his creations, which evoke vitality and rhythm, he aims to move the audience.

The artist expressed his honor at the opportunity and his खुशी in sharing his work with people from different places, creating a connection with the city of Toyama.
